" チャンバラ", padded , are an option. They are too floppy, however, to simulate and sliding .
(剣道道具), another possible option, does not protect the whole body; especially some classic like the armpit (八つ口) are completely unprotected. The ( 竹刀) used with the kendô-dôgu lacks the weight and curvature of the real sword, and cannot properly depict some of the .
