Need tips to change my instance from mastodon.social to humanities commons. #changeInstances

I'm so frustrated with trying to migrate to another instance. I've followed the instructions but it won't process the alias creation/move followers step on the original server. The new one looks fine but I can't get it to fully make the migration. If you can help, I'd appreciate it! Oh, and I've been trying to do this in mobile through Metatext. I’m considering changing servers, but I have no idea which one I should move to. Do I join the art one, even though I rarely draw and my “creativity” is used on cross stitch and picrews? Or maybe the Canada one, but then maybe the provincial one would be better? But is it worth the mental effort at all when I’m also ok right where I’m at?

Trying to edit #Wikipedia is not a very intuitive experience - so many hoops.

The #blockchain technology is just waiting. Waiting for someone to implement a system for #voterRegistration and #voteChecking, #reputationManagement for sites like Wikipedia, and #fediverse #addressControl, so users can easily #changeInstances for example.

Maybe this bc exists but if it does we haven't seen it yet.
