English compound nouns are in no way any better or shorter than German.

The only difference is that English has a tendency to spell them with a couple of "space" characters sprinkled through: I still read them as one... long... "word".

"Innovation platform framework utility application" is worse than any Swedish term I've seen in a long time, and might very well be on par with, or worse than,
the notorious German "Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitän".
