I am considering moving my account to a new server that suits my interests a little better. I am working with #tumorimmunology and #immunotherapies so something "sciency" would be great.

Find an instance that suits you - it doesn't need to be one of the massive servers; a more specialist one may have a local timeline & moderation policies that suit you much better!
