Could your picture reasonably be said to showing the asylum-seekers in a "positive light"? I doubt it.

The desire is to create a chilling effect of suppressing news of the boat crossings rather than to disrupt the crossings themselves.

The UK Govt's refusal to open up more safe & legal routes for vulnerable people to claim asylum in the UK has led to an awful tragedy in the Channel this morning.

The UK Govt should help reduce small boat crossings by allowing applications to begin at a Calais based centre as well as working to prosecute the people trafficking gangs. Protect the vulnerable.

Migrants deal?

The only way forward is to change the situation where these people come from to make their lives more meaningful at home rather than them travelling thousands of miles for an unknown future in a country that they know little about.
