It looks like the UK-EU negotiations on the Northern Ireland Protocol are heading into 'The Tunnel', with an agreement hoped for next week. But not the #ChannelTunnel, as #RishiSunak always travels by private jet.

#TodayInHistory Graham Fagg from UK and Phillippe Cozette from France meet around 40 metres beneath the seabead in 1990, during the construction of the Channel Tunnel, marking it's completion. The Tunnel would officially be opened in 1994.
