Since I don’t really have a way to display my hanukiah to the public, I’ll post it to Mastodon. I don’t think I’d ever thought that I’d have to actually worry about serious anti semitism and violent homophobia (again) in my life, but tonight I’m thinking a bit more about the more traditional political meaning of the holiday (rather than my usual minhag focused on the mystical symbol of unending light). #Chanukah5783
