Fate's Cruel Reversal marches towards battle

- My Knight Despoiler progress continues. The farther along this project gets the more and more I enjoy it. I originally thought the head was a bit too much but it adds that perfect bit of over-the-top nature leans into. I have some wings I might add as well, but first: finish the leg armor.

are facing down the Aeldari tomorrow for their first Crusade match of 10th Edition. I previously played a match as Deathwatch, but I'm not feeling Marines this edition. I'm stealing all your luck to wage war as the Court of the Mortive Expanse go on the hunt for some soulstones. A Rampager and 4 War Dogs; this'll be interesting.

- picture quality isn't the best, but snapping a photo before I forget. The War Dog pack is painted and ready for war. Two Karnivores, a Brigand, and a Stalker to lead them. Excited to see how they do. I have a few more touch-up steps I can do, like verdigris on the bronze, and adding blood splatter to the melee weapons but I'd be happy to put them on a table!

- Two things! Finally had a day to sit down and just paint for hours, so the War Dog pack is done sans nameplates: pictures tomorrow? Secondly - I was unsold on the cabochons for the knight but sculpting on eyelids makes them 500% creepier; they're staying and what have I done? I may have damned us all...

First of the new Wardogs nearly finished. I didn’t have a plan when starting to convert it (just a pile of bits) but pretty happy with how it’s turning out.

- last dry fit before breaking it down into subassemblies for priming & painting. The knight is ready to go. I'm still debating if I want to add some random eyes using gambachons at points on the carapace and leg armor.

"Fate's Cruel Reversal" is a Knight Despoiler dedicated to ! I'm thinking about getting some cabochon eyes and putting a few over the carapace to better tie the knight to the Changer of Ways. Thoughts?

- been thinking a lot about today. I'm debating running them in Crusade. Talking with a friend/co-worker and he thinks it shouldn't be a problem as long as I warn people. I feel that's a fair take, and it gets us away from being little more than Horus Heresy 40k edition with all Space Marines in the Crusade lists. What do you all think?

The War-Dogs are assembled! Lots of little kitbashes with these three, using parts from the regular Armiger kit as well as the Forgefiend kit. You can't really see it in this photo but the two Karnivores have tails made from the Maulerfiend mecha-tentacles. And the best part? They're off the desk so I have room again!

I really need to be better about projects. My desk is currently overrun with three partly built war-dogs and has been for a few days. Maybe I'll finish assembling them tonight? Or I might get distracted with a YouTube video about wood turning? Flip of the coin really.

continues! Sorry I've been lax about posting progress lately, I'm just in that intermediary stage where a bunch of stuff is at different stages and so doesn't get photographed. Currently on the workbench: 1 Knight Rampager, 1 Knight Desecrator, 4 War-Dogs of various types.
