It's great that #ChargePoint is trying to increase site reliability, but in my experience they are nowhere near the biggest problem compared to #ElectrifyAmerica and #EvGO (to a lesser degree). That seems to align with the regular reports from #RateYourCharge as well. I find ChargePoint units are usually up and producing full power, though they tend to be lower powered than other #DCFC chargers.

In my case, I’m going to buy a 40- or 50-amp #EVSE so I shouldn’t need to upgrade it. I don’t think we’ll ever need a second charger (we hardly ever drive our second car), and I doubt I’ll ever get into a hobby that will require 220V tools, so going hardwired seems like the right tradeoff for me.
I’m looking hard at the #ChargePoint Home Flex because my local utility will give me a $250 rebate; the hardwire version is $50 cheaper than one with a plug.

I drive a #ChevyBolt and I think she’s more on board now that my son and I took a 660 mile round trip in it in late June. Tomorrow’s 160 mile round trip will be nothing! Plus the parking garage has a #ChargePoint L2 station! I pretty much can replace the miles I drove during the ceremony then unplug and free up the charger before the reception #EV

I also love how many #Chargepoint L2 chargers we have found around town. We’ve been able to charge up while walking on the Cliff Walk, eating lunch at Flo’s Clam Shack, and while taking the Gansett boat around the harbor. Some have problems like being ICEd or blocked and there are way too few still, but this is the way of the future for sure. #ABC = always be charging #ElectricVehicles #EVs #Tesla #EVEoadtrip

We used DC Fast Chargers at auto dealerships in FIndley, Ohio and outside Ann Arbor - thankfully working and never busy - along with some #chargepoint units at that grow Easton mall place. One of those DC chargers brought us to Nelsonville for lunch and a great conversation with the owner of a shop who is able to pay his utility bills by selling penis-shaped soaps. We, of course, bought one. 2/4
