It's all a matter of how "inconvenient" you view the need to recharge and how much of a EV fan person you are.
There is NO DOUBT that recharging an EV enroute over 150-200 miles is inconvenient as compared w/just puming gas back into your car -- given the difficulty of finding/planning for EV stops, the variation in recharge rates, one's level of EV range "tolerance" as compared with the easy availability of gas stations.
You sound like an EV fanboy to me but most people who could be an EV owner/lessee are NOT.
So, you are just speaking to the choir.
Most people are not willing to suffer any inconvenience in driving an EV and any worry about the inconveniences involved in driving an EV will negatively affect its adoption by most other drivers.
I'm an experienced EV driver and I won'tbe bothered to suffer the inconveniece of recharging enroute to anywhere. Just think what people w/no such experience think. They wouldn't put up with it.

The #Solterra is an expensive car, and it feels weird to cheap out of ¥300 yen just to charge the battery 1/3 of the way, but it’s a kind of game by now.

Important developments in public charging infrastructure in BC. Just got this email from BC Hydro:

Hi Chris,
Our proposed public EV charging rates will not be changing September 1 as a result of our application and our current charging rates will remain in place. This is following a decision today by the B.C. Utilities Commission (BCUC) that the interim changes we applied for as part of our public EV charging rate application were not approved. Instead, the BCUC has initiated an expedited review process for our application.
Our public charging rate application is in response to previous decisions by the BCUC and incorporates feedback we've heard from our customers. It proposes:
Moving to energy-based rates and adding an extended stay fee
Expanding our network to over 3,000 charging units over 10 years
Increasing the power level of our stations over time
Introducing more level 2 charging

The German government approved the allocation of €57 billion in investments to tackle climate change, as Berlin pursues the goal of reaching greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045.
The money will go into the Climate and Transformation Fund, which was originally created in 2010.
A large portion of the funding boost will go to the construction industry, to make new and old buildings greener.

I’ve taken quite a liking to this power strip that’s /also/ a 3C+1A port USB charging brick: https://uk.ugreen.com/collections/power-strip/products/60168. I /think/ it’s relatively unique.
But at 85GBP, it /just/ steps outside “meh, why not?” territory and into “that’s actual money I’d be spending…”.

Most of their sites are located on the Peninsula and South Bay. I'm in the East Bay and they aren't of much use to me but it's always good to know where the available charging sites are located. So, I created an account just in case I'm near a PowerFlex site when I need a charge.
I've now got charging accounts w/ElectrifyAmerica, ChargePoint, EvGo & PowerFlex. I also have a PlugShare account which I've only used to "find" charging sites.

I had a 110V charger in the Bolt I leased between 2017-2020 & never used it. The 2023 ID4 Pro that I just leased didn't not include one, which didn't bother me.
If you really want/need a Level 1110V charger, you can buy one for $100-200, which is a lot less than the cost of a branded 110V charger at a dealer. VW wanted $350 for one of theirs. No thanks, LOL!

When the app (My Vauxhall) for your car (Mokka e) refuses to connect, one has to come up with a rough calculation...
( [kW until full] - ( [hours on charge so far] * [kWh charge rate] ) ) / [kWh charge rate]
( 25 - ( 4.5 * 3.1 ) ) / 3.1 = 3.5 hours left to fill the 50kW battery.
Fingers crossed it will reach 100% before we need to drive to Worcester for the weekend.
