I am President of a charitable giving foundation. We just announced our first grants. We received nearly a dozen grant applications. FOFFOS established its grant program to encourage new and expansion of established projects. Iit is our desire to be a valued partner in the work necessary to protect and restore healthy and sustainable marine environments. Our Board selected three projects. Exciting stuff at work this week, we have started our project for #OpenBanking “domestic standing orders”. Donor advised funds are a great way to handle appreciated stocks, plus they make it really easy to donate to charities anonymously to not get on their spam lists, as well as to make regular donations without hunting down each charity.
