It reminded me of how obsessed I got with that series. It seems like a thousand years ago but it was in about 2010

@Weltraumhirsch @Nerdperle A slight variation on #UrbanFantasy is what I think of as period fantasy, like #steampunk . #CharlaineHarris who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood books has the #GunnyRose series about a woman gunslinger in an alternate America that includes magicians.

Excited to get my hands on two new releases on the same day - "Flight Risk" by #CheriePriest and "The Serpent in Heaven" by #CharlaineHarris. WooHoo!
