This is the last paragraph of the last chapter of the book "A Field Guide to the Familiar: Learning to Observe the Natural World" by Gale Lawrence. The book is divided up unto seasons; each chapter covers something that you might observe around you in that season.

I thought this was a nice way to end the book. We're starting back at the beginning next week.
