#Golang forces me to slow down and think about what I'm trying to do. Its brevity is a healthy constraint that I don't get from other languages like #charp or #javascript.

#introduction oh hai! I’m Richard. I work in #it again after a very, very long time of not working in IT. We moved to regional Queensland going on three years ago and I greatly regret this. My aim is to learn enough to make myself desirable to employers back in #brisbane and maybe do more than dabble in #charp or #swift #programming. I used to #read lots but I don’t know what I like anymore. I aspire to #minimalism. I need to look after myself more. I’m going to try going #vegetarian after the new year (not a New Year’s resolution). I used to do lots of #cooking and #baking and really want to start doing this again. I’ve slowly started playing more #videogames again and expanding the amount of #anime I watch. I have plans on doing some #roleplaying with the kids (probably the My Little Pony RPG) and playing the #pokemontcg. I think the general gist of this is that I’m trying to mind myself again 🙂

When should I favor extension methods over #Charp 8 default interface implementation?
When I have an extension method in the same assembly and namespace as the interface it extends, is there any reason to *NOT* use a default interface implementation on the interface instead?
