Just finished watching The English on #Prime. #seriesrecommendation
What an amazing, touching, brutal and absolutely stunningly beautiful series.

I want more. Give me more Eli Whipp. #ChaskeSpencer did a really good job. I was enchanted.

Habe gestern die 1. Episode von #TheEnglish gesehen. #EmilyBlunt ist bei mir eh gesetzt, aber an #ChaskeSpencer bleibe ich richtig kleben. Was für eine Ausstrahlung! Und dann das Land…! Die Bilder lassen mich die Weite richtig fühlen, das Versprechen von Freiheit aber eben auch die Unbarmherzigkeit des Überlebenskampfes. Und ich kriege eine Ahnung, warum Amerika so ist, wie es ist. Bin jedenfalls sehr gespannt auf die weiteren Folgen.

Finished The English over the weekend and oh my god is this a series that’s going to stay with me for awhile.

Everyone was absolutely phenomenal in it. Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer are wonderful, but Rafe Spall just completely blew me away. As a fan of his on Trying, I almost couldn’t believe the same man would play such an utter fiend.

Highly recommended.
