I Storbrittanien backar regeringen något om Online Safety Bill som är en förslag om massövervakning, liknande #ChatControl som EU behandlar nu.

"The UK government has conceded one of the more controversial parts of its Online Safety Bill, stating that the powers granted by the legislation will not be used to scan encrypted messaging apps for harmful content until it can be done in a targeted manner."

Så man backar nu men vill ha massövervakning i framtiden.

I am seeing #ChatControl a lot on my feed and I don't understand how this would be, even theoretically / assuming infinite resources, implemented. I know "this won't happen because it's literally impossible to do effectively" won't stop bad legislation, but I don't even understand the basic theory.
