Some orgs and "makers" experimenting and innovating with the #Zulip chat app (#FOSS and uses #Django and open standards for APIs). Also slack and discord. Mostly moderator bots and plugins for #DevOps or #ChatOps.

Sales rant: I was looking at Slack Atlas (basically org chart, labels, and enriched bios in Slack). Everything checked out: correct plan, SSO in place, price within reason. The only downside? Not enough users (minimum: 200).

What?

Perhaps I'm missing something but if I want to click a button to enable more functionality and I am willing to pay more money for the privilege, there seems to be no reason to not sell the product. I have to imagine the marginal cost to Slack of the added users is roughly $0 at this point so what gives?

Slack/Salesforce did not get to where they are by being idiots, so I'm sure there's a hidden strategy here but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. #slack #chatops

I completed the #cicd pipeline today. It took roughly two weeks, but it’s one of the most #shift-left automation systems I’ve written to date.
To recap, it does the following:
- #UnitTests
- #SecurityScan
- Dynamic #container builds
- #k8s test environment deployment
- Application deployment via #helm
- #e2e testing with #Cypress
- #ChatOps integration and notification
I still have some additional features to add in the future, but at the moment it’s functionality complete.
