Obvious ploy to get "new" things on Adult Swim during a writer's strike that the AMPTP won't spend 0.01% of their profits to end? Definitely.
But hey, it has a bumper with Grim looking at a bunch of live-action sheep, looking rather impatient. Seems like something Cartoon Network would do back in the day.
General thoughts:
* The cartoons are stretched to 16:9, which is unfortunate.
* This is 100% Adult Swim. It's got the Adult Swim ads, it has the Adult Swim bottom-right bug, and it even starts with the normal Adult Swim disclaimer. This is not (officially) some in-between Cartoon Network and Adult Swim thing.
* It has uniquely animated promos! This may be the first time these characters have been animated in any official media in almost a decade.
