Finished the #CheckerworkHat ! I reduced the number of stitches because it was better with my gauge, but if I would (and I will) #knit another one I'd follow the pattern. Also one of the stripes matches my tow nail polish. #nails #knitting #hat

Cathing up with my WIPs that I haven't posted for a while : WIP 1 is a #CheckerworkHat inspired by @lookitmychicken . I love that it takes 50g of sock yarn only, because when I knit socks for me I use only half a 100g ball, so I don't knit two times the same socks. I reduced the number of stitches because it seemed to high for my head with my gauge.

I turned the heel on the first sock I'd been #knitting with this #BendigoWoollenMills sock yarn, tried it on and realised I'd made the sock a little too big whoops.

So it's going to be repurposed into my fourth #CheckerworkHat. This one's for meeeee.

#Geelong is finally remembering how to play football, I'm feeling snug under the rainbow blanket that Mum recently finished crocheting for me, and I'm working on hat number three in this fun #CheckerworkHat pattern (requested by Mum for her trip to Europe).

I made the basket, too. It was my first venture into basket making. It's a bit floppy but excellent for knitting projects.
