@Joseph @deviantollam Seriously it's ome thing if they'd be legally obligated to do #ContentID-Style #checksum-based stuff on their Servers but this kind of #Malware reminds me of #Govware lile #Pegasus and it'll only be a matter of time till someone "e-SWATs" someone by putting a file on their device that'll get flagged by that thing...
It's literally an invitation to #blackmail #Apple device owners that is more devastating than a #Ransomware threatening to destroy HW.

The files are on HDDs Raid 6 on the Synology and on the internal SSD on the Mac.
The Synology took 7m 15s the Mac took 11m 5s.
I would have expected the Mac to be much faster.
What the heck is going on here?

Sono 2 giorni che provo ad #installare un flavour di #Ubuntu sul mio #Thinkpad, e arrivato al 60/70 % di installazione di blocca sempre con questa scritta, è una cosa SURREALE. Ovviamente ho già:
- scaricato varie volte la/le #ISO via #torrent e verificato il #checksum sia corretto (lo è)
- provato a creare la chiavetta usb con qualsiasi SW, tipo quello di #Canonical, ma anche #unetbootin o anche dando un semplice dd if= of=
- verificato il disco e la ram
Si accettano consigli dal #fediverso 🙂
