…And somehow my feed has become tons of people complaining about #academia this morning.

For my part, at least, childhood me, who helped my mom with cleaning houses, who was told never to expect better than to work as a cashier, and who grew up very very poor, could never have dreamed of a job as cushy as #LegalAcademia. I love my job. It is so much easier and more fun than law practice. I am #grateful for it every day. #CheerfulMastodon
