Day 19 of my Flower Advent Calendar is also this week's Cheering Up Mondays flower.
I grew this rather lovely dwarf iris for the first time this year.
I love these iris particularly in pots where you can place them high up and enjoy the flowers close-up.

The last Cheering Up Mondays of the month and something that's been brightening my garden for weeks.
It's not something you'd look at twice for most of the year but over winter these bell-shaped flowers are a joy.
Clematis cirrhosa balearica, well worth space in any garden.
