Sad news that #ChenKenichi -- aka the Chinese specialist on the OG #IronChef -- has passed on. Stumbling across the broadcasts in the mid-1990s via the LA area channel that carried a variety of non-English programming was a revelation; my crew called it 'Gods of Cooking' lacking any other context or info. The show is and remains a marvel, something I'm so glad happened, and all his dishes looked great.
