On PTC buses the thirukkural used to stand out because there was not too much written on the inside of the bus. Now there are ads Everywhere! On the metro I went looking for valluvar and was happy to find him lurking in a corner where the two coaches join. Then I got off and boarded another and looked for the next kural only to find this had taken the space! அறம் வேண்டுமா கார் வேண்டுமா?? Guess car is the need of the hour? ;-)

Used to commute on PTC #chennai to school. I’ve seen everything from நா. பா & Rajesh Kumar to Wodehouse & Kafka in people’s hands. Today on the #chennaiMetro, everyone (including me) staring at a screen. And at least three full grown adults busy crushing candy!! Technology has improved SO much!! 🤦🏾‍♂️
