The mini tart I filled with tvaroh (a Czech dairy product), microplaned lemon peel and a homemade mix if ground cane sugar, cinnamon and chilli flakes.

One of the upstream orchards that feeds a grocery outlet I rely on had a bumper crop of Bing #cherries this year, which is how I ended up taking delivery today of an 18lb flat full of cherries for $25, all super #sweet and oozing juice and so soft they almost fall apart between your fingers. I immediately gave away half and pitted half the remainder, so I now I have 4 pints pitted and flashfrozen for #pie, plus a quart of whiskey cherries.
