I am so proud of myself 🙂: I have just used #git #CherryPick for the first time ever and, drum roll, it worked! Did it via the command line as for some reason I get lost sometimes using #magit in #Emacs even though magit is fantastic for the usual activities.

Ideally you don't want to use #git #cherrypick if you don't have #tests in place.

When you bring a past change back to the present, it is very likely to produce an inconsistent state.

I know this is not elegant or anything, but I feel it is much safer to just manually copy/paste the old code, run it, see what happens, and release it as a new commit.

That's my unpopular opinion.

any fluent germans wanna label some triggering tweets_ no fun work lol. #AI is a LOT dumber than the marketing makes it seem. trying to use an SVM to say if post german floods last year urgently action is required, or not required, classifying tweets. need to #cherrypick the most triggering tweets, I did the mistake of just labelling the first few hundred and guessing on human brain context whether the tweeter is for or against smth. but i belive #cherrypicking will work a ton better.
