I'd be interested in principle I should probably but I've never played online before and am kinds nervous. )I also don't know how well I play or what my rating is, since I haven't played any rated players before. I keep hanging a rook or gift-wrapping my queen for my opponent to take, stupid mistakes like that. I should probably go practice a few hands before playing against you.

I wonder if there's a way to get s resetting posting straight bots.

I'm going to take a stab at the possibilities.
Possibly you are able to transfer the skills, but you don't have the same drive when you play other games. As you say, you don't take them seriously. Perhaps it is because of this that you lose?
Or possibly you have honed your #chess skills to be very specific, so that you can't apply them to other games and you don't have that same level of comfort and familiarity? (Hence my love of #chess960.)
