Just discovered this super cool initiative for the ETAPS ‘23 conference: extended stay scheme to encourage conference attendees to travel by train instead of plane. The idea is to combine attendance and lab research visits to better amortize the travel time to make train more air-competitive. This is great win-win thinking!
