Made some chicken cacciatore tonight. Served over penne with a generous amount of parmigiana on top for me. Recipe (shown below) is heavily marked up and tonight I made a half recipe of what I usually make.

A solid comfort food dish last night, Chicken Cacciatore. I browned the chicken breasts in a cast iron pan than set them aside. Cooked up onions, green peppers, garlic and tomato sauce and added chicken back to the sauce. Simmered, partially covered for 45 minutes and served atop egg noodles.
