I should start a photo series: Random Eggs in Places They Shouldn’t Be.

I gathered this one right before bed as I was putting the girls up for the night.

Didn’t bother to take it to the kitchen.

Instead, I took my watch and bracelets off and made a nest for it on the bedside table.

This table was at my dad’s bedside for 27 years. I prefer not to repaint it because of that.

Whiny, can’t-suspend/disbelief/and-just-enjoy-it complaint:

Any real #ChickenTender would tell you that the whole storyline of modified chickens-surviving-nine-years-and-continuing-to-reproduce thing in the show would be well, yeah, a fairy tale.

(Yeah yeah yeah I know, deer boy born from an unfertilized chicken egg?!)

Besides that, I am enjoying the show much more than I thought I would. It’s helped me through the long power outage and the loss of my bunny, Jack.
