We visited the Merribek Transport pop up in Fawkner today asking about improving mobility around #Merribek.

We’d like better protected bike lanes connecting up all the dog parks please, to make it easier to check our peemails!! 🐶🐶

Don’t laugh! This is serious. Dogs have mobility issues too, where to take our humans.

We’d like to say a thank you and RESPECT to both drivers (one from each direction) who stopped at the raised crossing of the #UpfieldBikepath at O’Hea street at 5.30pm today for us on our bike. It isn’t a formal Wombat Crossing (but maybe it should be) .

Dad left us alone all yesterday while he went to the hearing in Coburg of the VIC Legislative Assembly Economy and infrastructure Committee with the Inquiry into Vulnerable Road Users. We would have liked to be there to bark out our thoughts. It can be scary riding in the front of a bike basket.

Cars, trucks and buses queueing across the pedestrian/cycling lights on Bell street at Coburg station scare us!!! But also the cars that run this red light only to go 20 metres and have to stop behind traffic at the next lights.!! So much disregard for vulnerable road users.

Why didn’t we ride in the Dawson Street (Brunswick) separated bike lane today, but had to take a road lane? Because these people thought they could stop their car and could use it as a loading zone.

We visited not one but two dog parks today. The Coburg Under Skyrail dog park we chased the cyclists on the Upfield Bike Path on the other side of the fence. That was fun.

Dad was playing music by HK & Les Saltimbanks but it was all French to us!

Take our human cycling to the cafe, and we get to go to the dog park. We like that. A dog park is like an email server enabling us to send and receive scent messages - peemails. We sometimes even get to meet and play with doggy friends.
