Double up on socks, wear slippers, try not to be out in the cold too long. The itchy, burny tingle of #chilblains sucks!

@Tighnacoille feel like everyone in #scotland is reliving #winterofdiscontent 1977-78. I was in Uni and had not lived anywhere north of #ATL. Cold and dark. Hot water bottle in rucksack at all times. Arthritis now where the #chilblains were. That Val McD mystery 1979 has it just right (and playlist inside). A #dram, hot water bottle and sleep no matter the hour!
