We spent the morning at the Aquarium with Kyle's siblings and our niece and nephew. As much as I adore those kids, I was very happy not to deal with the 1pm naptime meltdown 😆 they left and we just enjoyed the aquarium by ourselves haha

Listening to a podcast, thinking that I keep hearing about how a higher percentage of the #ActuallyAutistic community are LGBT+ when compared to the general population & I wonder if there's a similar correlation between being #childfree & #autistic?

I don't have any children and I'm happy with that.

Even if the future was bright, I wouldn't want to.
Even if I was healthier, I wouldn't want to.
Even if childcare was guaranteed, I wouldn't want to.
Even if I was wealthy, I wouldn't want to.
Even if the world's population was very small, I wouldn't want to.

There are no ifs that could make me want a child.

I don't want to go through pregnancy, childbirth or adoption.
I don't want to raise a baby, a small child or a teenager.
I don't look forward to having adult children coming to visit.

I believe that ideally children should come into this world wanted. Simply not wanting to, shouldn't that be reason enough?
