6% of 19-21 yr olds with care experience are at university.
Compared to 43%.

38% are not in education, employment or training.
Compared to 11%.

The council did not close the home immediately, they left us in limbo for 2 years as they reduced the number of children. Then they closed the home for being uneconomical. Now aside from this being very short-term thinking (how uneconomical is it to give #ChildrenInCare as good a childhood as possible) it seemed only even remotely true because the number of Children who lived there had been whittled down from a point where the home was full.
