finished #TheExpanse yesterday! all six seasons in about 10 days.

i really enjoyed it, and i think it’s going to leave a lasting impression on my #SciFi preferences in the future. if/when i finish reading #ChildrenOfDune, maybe i’ll take a break from the #Dune franchise and try out the expanse books.

oh, and i think the #rocinante is high on my list of favorite spaceships now.

All this being said, #IanMcNeice is still my favorite Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. His performance is so thespian and he just eats up the scenery in both Sci Fi Channel series.

As we prepare for the arrival of #DunePartTwo, I'd like to say a few words about the several #liveaction #adaptations

First, I just don't get the love for #Dune1984. It's so damn weird.

Before #DunePartOne, my favorite adaptations were the two #SciFiChannel #TV #movie series, #FrankHerbert's #Dune and #ChildrenofDune. CoD is my favorite between the two, tbh, and has a moving #soundtrack despite terrible #CGI.

Of course, #Dune 2021 blew me outta the water and I'm excited to see Part 2.

Imma have to re-listen to the #Dune series of #audiobooks before this comes out.

And maybe re-watch the Dune and #ChildrenofDune #SciFi Channel #TV #movie #series as well (my favorite adaptations along with the first #DenisVilleneuve film).

Now that I'm all finished with #dune #ChildrenOfDune what #Scifi should I watch next ?
Old Man #Picard season1 and 2 underwhelmed me, I haven't tried no 3.

@MirrorAyako 👋 I bounced off the first book when I attempted to read it originally, then after the #Dune 2021 movie, I decided I'd revisit.

I decided that in 2023 I'd dedicate time to the first book once again, and it was such a great reading experience that it propelled me to pick up the next book immediately afterwards and just keep going.

Once I read the ending of #ChildrenofDune, I had to see what that weird worm was all about. That ending blew me away! What a wild idea!
