The UN just launched its first draft of guidelines for governments to protect children’s environmental rights! Children and young people are invited to share their views. #ChildRightsEnvironment https://childrightsenvironment.org/children-and-young-people/

Well done, Maya! She is the first child to present in person at an opening session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Our 16-year-old Child-Advisor from Greenland urged the UN to uphold #ChildRightsEnvironment with a strong General Comment #GC26.

“You need children’s participation to tell you how we feel and what we need from you. Only this will give you a General Comment that stands so true to children.” Maya-Natuk said.
