Lagrimas de Sangre really rocked me when I first saw it. It's a painting I keep coming back to. The coldness of it all. The raw expression there is in a still image. Oswaldo Guayasamin is one of my hugest inspirations

On 11th September 1973, the army initiated a coup d’état by murdering Chile’s President, Salvador Allende, who had been democratically elected three years prior. From 11th September to 4th October, exhibitions, talks, and film screenings will be held at several locations in to remember the execution and disappearance of over 3,000 people, amongst them 6 British-Chilean citizens, which followed the coup.
