My replacement Kensizer #trap came today! Fortunately, I had some leftover metal mesh from the garden cage project, and I immediately modified the trap to make it less likely to catch a squirrel. I narrowed the opening to (hopefully) be too small for a squirrel, but just right for a 🐿️

I put it out in the yard near one of their burrows with some sunflower seeds. I caught one within 10 minutes!

Time will tell if this mod prevents señor squirrel from getting caught, but I'm hopeful.

In total, today I caught **5 **chipmunks and 1 mouse 🐭 (oops). #chipmunk #trap #garden #rodents #PestControl
