I have my #chr instance (just licensed - the 10G) one on a Proxmox VE host with a Ryzen 5950x on it and a couple of 10Gbit/s nics. I'm doing virtio though, not passthrough as I understandn #chr is kind of designed for that. I've been creating the tagged interfaces on the host and passing them through as "untagged" nics to the CHR guest. I haven't done much with it yet, but I'll find out if doing it that way is a good idea or not pretty soon:) Right now most of my infra is running on some old ruckus 1G switches. When I break the local network (L3) msFiveSpeed can connect to an AP that will get natted by the cable modem & still have internet. That's our "backup" network :)

@ghostinthenet Ouch. So true! I've actually thought using CHR (@ home) for inter-vlan routing. Has it worked out well for you? I have the 10Gbit license #mikrotik #chr
