Toujours sur la planète grunge, on ne peut pas oublier #Soundgarden et le talentueux #chriscornell (🖤). C’était non seulement un chanteur exceptionnel mais aussi un mec super. C’est notamment lui qui avait aidé Vedder, Gossard, Ament et McCready à se lancer avec leur projet commun Temple of the dog.

Just realized that those responsible for the 3 versions of Nothing Compares 2 U that I know (and love) are all gone now (#SineadOConnor, #Prince, and #ChrisCornell), and I kinda don't think I want to listen to anyone else's version ever. (I guess I also know the first version, by The Family, but they = Prince.)

I'm always struck when Chris sang with someone else how he would sing to blend, not to showboat. He had such a powerful voice but didn't seem to ever feel the need to prove it. He just did it.

His death hit me very hard. SuperUnknown was the first popular music CD I ever purchased and it basically sat in my player on repeat for all of 1995 and 1996.

In 2003 heeft Tom dan al het project #TheNightwatchman opgericht.
In 2007 onstaat ook #StreetSweeperSocialClub met #BootsRiley.

ze #ChrisCornell ontmoeten en ze richten #Soundgarden op in 1984. Deze band zal een stempel op het genre grunge zetten en er een metal invloed aan geven , vooral door Kim zijn gitaarspel, ze zijn ook de eerste grungeband met een major platendeal.
In 1997 stopt soundgarden en richt hij #TheNoWTOCombo met punklegende #JelloBiafra op in 1999.
In 2010 komt Soundgarden terug samen tot het overlijden van Chris Cornell in 2018.
In 2021 richt hij supergroep #3rdSecret op met #KirstNovoselic

nieuwe zanger #ChrisCornell van #Soundgarden de #supergroep #Audioslave oprichten.
Deze band zal minder politiek getinte teksten hebben, en heel wat kritiek ontvangen. Maar al snel zal de band een gevestigde waarde worden met een eigen sound.
In 2007 besluit Cornell zich te focussen op zijn solocarrière. In 2017 zal er net voor zijn dood nog één reünie optreden plaats vinden.
In 1994 wordt #ShandiAddiction gevormd met Tom, #MaynardJamesKeenan en #BillyGould om een opname te maken voor een

In 1997 zal soundgarden splitten,
In 2010 komen de bandleden terug samen en brengen in 2012 hun laatste album uit, King Animal, tot aan de dood van #ChrisCornell blijft hij bij Soundgarden drummen.
In 1991 had hij met een deel van Pearl Jam het project #TempleOfTheDog opgericht ter nagedachtenis van #AndrewWood van Mother Love Bone.
Vanaf 1998 zal hij zich bij die andere grunge grootheid voegen, Pearl Jam, ter vervanging van Jack Irons, tot heden.
Hij zal zelf nog vele projecten oprichten
