Today’s listening is ‘Servants Of The Sun’, the 2019 album by The Chris Robinson Brotherhood.

Formed by Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes whilst said band was on a hiatus, the CRB released a series of excellent studio and live albums.

This was to be their final studio album, as the group disbanded after the sad death of guitarist Neal Casal in August 2019.

A typically lively set of funky, groovy rock tunes, this album comes highly recommended!

Today’s listening is ‘If You Lived Here, You Would Be Home By Now’, the 2016 5-track EP by The Chris Robinson Brotherhood.
This plays more like a short album than an EP from the CRB and has a mixture of styles, ranging from straight country-rock (‘Sweet Sweet Lullaby’) to Indian-infused psychedelic-rock (‘From the North Garden’).
Good stuff and remember kids, the CRB loves you!
