We buried Granny today, at long last. It's finally over. Nobody does a funeral quite like the #Irish.

As my aunt said, once you get to a certain age, #funerals replace #weddings and #christenings as the big social events where you meet everyone. I guess that's where that #IrishMammy #stereotype comes from.

Yesterday and today were very much a celebration of Granny's life rather than mourning her death, and for that I'm grateful.
