The vicar visited me this morning.

Discussed church website, social media feed, Google location data, AChurchnearMe data, Christians against Poverty and their Life Skill programme and finally a thoughtful discussion about running the Alpha course at his church.

We prayed for the Holly Spirit to guide our discussion and highlight the path we should take.

I had to write a cease and desist email to Christians Against Poverty yesterday after they bombarded my vicar and I with emails and phone calls pleading for more financial support.
I understand that charities are under huge financial pressure with falling income and increased demand but alienating their supporters wont help their cause, and CAP have a reputation of over committing, which is not good even in God's name.

Introduction to the Life Skills programme from Christians Against Poverty - a thread.

The programme helps those in need to stay out of debt. The programme covers four main topics over eight weekly sessions
● Money, separating needs from wants, budgeting, saving and being thankful for what we have.
● Energy, heating and cooking priorities, being efficient, reading meters, managing bills.
