2️⃣ Instead of starting off with a mission, this one opens on the hero hanging out with his best pal (#MichaelCole from #TheModSquad) when disaster strikes. By staggering coincidence, it seems that archvillain Quaid is responsible for the car crash that has injured John's buddy.

#Banacek 10 (1973) - 9/10

1️⃣ If there’s one thing #GeorgePeppard does well, it’s play a smug, arrogant tough-guy hero. This episode is one of the best examples of that.

2️⃣ #ChristineBelford, last seen in the pilot, returns to the series as a co-star. She’ll make 4 more appearances. She and Peppard have fantastic chemistry. The character of Kirland adds a lot to the series.
