Shelly Bond's Filth & Grammar is astonishingly brilliant, dense with deep editorial wisdom. Invaluable if you're making comics, tbh pretty essential whatever you're writing / drawing.

Robert Palmer's Deep Blues is also pretty wondrous, so far a blend of evocative story telling, musical deep dives and historical context.
