A big shout out to the people who work in the Corner Store in Canberra for being there to make coffee and pattern a beautiful flower in the milk.
Last day of Coffee Advent takes me to Stories Bookstore & Cafe in #echopark #losangeles and it’s perfect: a #bookstore AND #cafe. Great coffee, and a fab cardamom bun from Clark Street Bread. I adore this place! #advent #coffeeadvent #coffee #coffeeshop #indiebookstore #christmascoffee

Today’s coffee advent took me to Silverlake Coffee! This was a very chill vibe cafe that clearly has a devout following, and for good reason. The staff made me a cinnamon mocha latte, rich with oat milk foam…delicious. Had a great breakfast sandwich and home fries too. Highly recommended! #coffee #silverlake #losangeles #coffeeadvent #breakfast #coffeelover #christmascoffee

Seventh recommendation (I am awful at this one a day plan) is via @ade. Chimney Fire Coffee ‘Odds & Ends’ blend is affordable, saves waste and has produced some excellent (never repeated) blends.
Good for ‘spend less’ New Year resolutions.

Sixth recommendation comes via @mdbstanbridge@twitter.com for Dark Arts Coffee and their Lost Highway seasonal espresso: https://www.darkartscoffee.co.uk/collections/coffee/products/lost-highway-seasonal-espresso-uganda
However, I might buy some Christmas roast, just for the pack illustration: https://www.darkartscoffee.co.uk/products/gruss-vom-krampus-xmas-coffee
Fifth recommendation (more of a tip for 2023 really): I tried my 1st coffee from Yemen in 2022 and it was delicious, Mission Coffee Work’s Wadi Al-Maa (sadly now all sold out but check out their range: https://www.missioncoffeeworks.com).
As well as being delicious, Yemeni coffee has a great potential to improve lives: https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2022/sep/12/yemens-coffee-farmers-bid-to-win-over-baristas-to-their-heritage-beans
Fourth recommendation…
Of my favourite coffees this year, ⅓ have been from Has Bean.
I love their coffee subscription which offers a great selection and comes with a brilliant blog post and video for each coffee.
Missed a few days so here's 3 from the excellent
Kiss The Hippo.
I loved their 2022 Esmeralda Gesha & Shattah Snowcap specials but they're finished, so try these:
Auromar Gesha: https://kissthehippo.com/collections/coffee/products/colombia-villa-betulia-gesha?variant=40559280357419
Villa Betulia Gesha: https://kissthehippo.com/collections/coffee/products/colombia-villa-betulia-gesha?variant=40559280357419
… and if you want something delicious but more affordable for everyday drinking, I'd recommend their 'George Street’ house blend: https://kissthehippo.com/collections/coffee/products/george-street-blend?variant=31802832420907
Third recommendation is for Nude Espresso via @Ilicco. Kicking myself I've not had their beans at home this year, but have spent many happy hours at their roastery just off Brick Lane, London.
Ilicco recommends their East Blend: https://www.nudeespresso.com/coffee/eastblend
My 2nd recommendation is
Origin Coffee. This year I loved their Pathfinder blend which has tasting notes of "berries, citrus fruit, chocolate".
Back in May this was from China & Burundi. Currently it's Tanzania & El Salvador.

They’re also doing a give-away on Instagram at the moment: https://www.instagram.com/origincoffeeroasters/
My first recommendation is Bean In Dingle and their 'Colombia - Natural' roast with tasting notes of 'boozy berries, fudge, honey'.
I bought this in person when I visited Dingle (Co Kerry, Ireland) - it's a very beautiful place.
It's time for some Christmas Coffee recommendations - my own and ones shared with to me. I'll do 1 per day until the 25th.
I want to discover (and share) excellent specialty coffee roasters and their best coffees, so please boost & reply with your favourites.

Hey speciality coffee drinkers! I want to have some fun and support a few small businesses in the run-up to Christmas.
What was your:
1️⃣ favourite coffee
