Our zoo has this beautiful Christmas crib each year. As a bonus it mostly blocks the lion's den so they enjoy a few weeks free of visitors as well.
The figurines are made of wood, I think, and quite large. Some of them must be heavy. :3

While I am not a religious person at all, this one is really cute.
