At the beginning of the pandemic I bought some LED #ChristmasLights to experiment with. It was a time where no one was going anywhere, so I had to find new ways to see the neighborhood I had lived in for 10 years. Here, I tried a #CrossFilter with the LEDs, and it didn't work out exactly as I planned, but the #CherryBlossoms really put in a lot of work in any photo. There are many different types of #sakura, but people love to make the standard variety pink, even tho they arent. #Photography

Finally getting to post some of my holiday images that I shot this year. The Strasburg train station looked wonderful this year when decorated for the holidays. A Santa Express train is run during weekends before Christmas every year.

We had a fun experiment with these for #ChristmasLights but, again, I'd rather move to something standards-based - that I can use if the manufacturer stops supporting it in the future.

Part of Edinburgh Council's Christmas display this year was a giant Edinburgh sign. A response to questions showed it cost £22,000, costs £50-£100 to run, and is planned to be a festive fixture for the next decade.
