When I was about 5 I got a wood burning kit for Christmas, and promptly used it to set the broom in the laundry room on fire … which then set the laundry room on fire. That was also the year my parents realized I was a little pyro 😂 #christmasmemories

I still remember the construction equipment toys I got for Christmas when I was 5.

One day I put them in a storage box attached to a transport trailer that had been parked by our yard forever, rather than bring them inside for the night.

Trailer was gone the next morning.

The year is a big fuzzy, but it was 2007ish. My brothers, and I and all the kids and spouses had gathered at my mom’s. We always saved stockings for after dinner and that year I put a can of silly string in everyone’s stocking and we had an EPIC silly string battle in Mom’s dining room. It was awesome!

Mistletoe grows high up in trees. I don't know if that's true everywhere, but it's what I remember. My dad would carry a 22 rifle, take perfect aim, and shoot down bunches of the mistletoe. Every tree had a "side" that had to fit against the wall, but once decorated, it didn't matter. 1951

Her's an old wooden Santa ornament. It's from a 12-pc set (Arrow 336 Flat Wooden Paint-by-Number Christmas Ornaments), and my Dad painted it sometime in the late 70s or early 80s. Well, he painted all 12, but we have only three from that set (Santa, an elf, and a rocking horse). Not sure when exactly they came into my possession, but I know they are usually part of our holiday decor, and I know this photo is from 12/13/2015.
