I keep forgetting to share my fave version of #SilentNight / #StilleNacht. It is sung in #Navajo and was used in the #ChristmasFilm / #ChristmasMovie “Christmas in the Clouds” (2001), which itself starred a mostly Navajo cast.

There are two notable amateur films in the National Film Registry. One of them is the Zapruder film, the other Sid Laverents' Multiple SIDosis (1970).

Sid Laverents was an airplane engineer and former one-man band vaudevillian who in his fifties, joined the #SanDiego Amateur Moviemakers Club. One of his best known outputs, Multiple SIDosis, took him and his 16 mm #Bolex four years and 1,900 feet of celluloid to make. Nothing beats watching #christmas classics with children. In #homealone 1 we counted the “wet bandits” #JoePesci and #DanielStern suffering 15 and 20 painful hits respectively.
